We had our elected representatives threatened in the halls of congress and nothing happened to them. We had thugs disrupting senate hearings and nothing happened to them.

It is obvious that law enforcement will refuse to enforce the laws. Why would anyone think they will enforce the law this time, next time, or any time? Law enforcement is not permitted by its civilian leadership to enforce the laws. They can only "investigate", and endlessly investigate.
