Members of the Black Panther Party marched through the city of Atlanta, strapped with assault rifles and brandishing Stacey Abrams campaign signs.

In a video posted on the group’s Facebook page on Saturday, members of the Black Panther Party are seen marching through the West End neighborhood of Atlanta in support of Stacey Abrams gubernatorial campaign. Whose bright idea was it to give Fred Sanford a gun?

Sir,

No, many low powered variable scopes indeed have a 30mm tube, a 24mm or so objective lens and an ocular /eyebox that is around 35mm. Once you get into variable tactical type optics above about 8 power these days, then you see objectives in the 40+mm diameters. Think of the older Weaver K series- up to 4x the obj was 22 mm, the ocular about 30 mm.

Regards

Only the Nerf brands I think lol

Don't know if the launcher is legal, but the grenades definitely not legal.

These kind of threats won’t work either. Keeping our country outweighs panthers and their guns. They have tried and failed...take ms abrams with you.

Just never felt the need to improve on what works already. Still, it is a bit embarrassing...

Don’t be. These new type scopes are about fast, single glance, target acquisition, not magnification (though many of them do).

Yes. These launchers are legal. The most popular model is made by Spikes Armory in Florida. They are for flares and smoke. Largely just toys.

Funny thing is I have seen guys like that at the range ... We turn them into rednecks. One just bagged his first deer last year and became a life time member of the NRA.

Good job! I always feel bad about seeing young black guys at the range hammering away with ARs. They’re invariably throwing 18 inch groups at 25 yards. I want to help them, but I’m afraid of giving insult as they almost NEVER interact with the other shooters.

Makes me sad.

...and brandishing his Man Purse too.

Have you stopped to consider WHY a guy who’s all about looking intimidating would carry a “man purse?”

“..looking intimidating...”

Chuckle...

Trust me, he’s NOT intimidating.

Some of the good ol’ boys I know would have him peeing down his leg... and into his man purse.

There are very popular modern scopes that do not have a windage bell - usually 1-4x or 1-6x. Here is the Leupold VX-R Patrol.

Sorry - while it is fun to ridicule these people, this time they’re not only right, they’re more up to date than you are.

It’s been pointed out that the guy pictured on the left has the scope on backwards on his AR-whatever.
It's a SCAR by FN, very pricey. Scope is mounted properly.

And yes, this is how a VX-R Patrol (and others of this type) are supposed to be mounted:

You’re missing the point.

WHY would he carry it.

If your “good ol’ boys” are anything like mine, chances are they’re the ones who would wind up pissing themselves.
