As of this time I speak to my granddaughter.
She is currently writing two essays. She says they are called scholarship essays.
One is called “parity mental health act”. By the international bipolar foundation. something about making mental health providers providing mental health equal to physical health provisions.
She will win $1,000, then $500, then $250.
She says she has experience with the nutty mother.
“What do you think of the 2nd amendment?” or something like that.
Well I blew up like I do with the bad cat.
“Don’t you say anything about gun control. I will kill myself before I turn over my gun to somewhere.”
She waves her hand and says “What makes you think I am AGAINST the second amendment?”
It turns out that she thinks everyone should have a gun.
And the bipolar stuff.....well we know what she’s got her mind on. I think she really wants to cure her mother.
She asks what am I writing. I tell her FreeRepublic, big conservative web site on the net. She tells me about five fellow junior marines read FreeRepublic.
Anyway.....she’s not going to the parade. She does not have a ride. She’s not happy about it.
