The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

You must let an 18 year-old citizen vote, but it does not prohibit states from lowering the voting age.

why should they vote at 16? DC natives already have instant job preference, and therefore, influence, in the government simply due to location. Give them even more preferential influence?

or, how about DC can vote at 16 but we move the Capitol to Texas or Montana?
