I’m a southern Nevada resident where we have brutally hot summers.
The Nevada initiative would make air conditioning unaffordable. Air conditioning is not a matter of comfort but a matter of life and death with the southern Nevada summer temperatures.
Around 80 per cent of the population of Nevada is in the Vegas Valley. The electric bills would devastate this part of the state and drag down the rest of the state with it.
As electric bills rise people would be forced to cut back on air conditioning and heat-related fatalities will rise.
One of the immutable laws of nature is that any cause back by “liberals” always leads to death and destruction.
