Looks like it’ll wreak havoc on a vast swath of land in front of them, including part of Southeastern Texas, but won’t be throwing the caravan-ists up in the air, just slowing them down.

Even so, they’ll be going thru a storm ravaged area. Probably not enough supplies for the locals much less thousands of leeches. Not to mention walking thru the trees and buildings and cars that could be strewn about.
