If anything though doesn’t this issue HURT Democrats more than it helps, it solidifies the anti-immigration base of the Republican party and gives it a current talking point. I guess I just don’t see the point of the conspiracy if there is one

The point is to create an emotional pro-Democrat surge just before the election with wall-to-wall hypersympathetic coverage of the invaders. This is not the first time we’ve seen this script.
The front of the line pecking order will be.......infants crawling, followed by children under five, followed by children under twelve, then the elderly on crutches and wheelchairs, next will be all handicapped, then pregnant women and then just women.......the rest fall in together.
That's not a good look, it will make those who thought it was a meanie policy to be against immigration (who they think of as families of four sneaking in to get jobs as landscapers and maids) rethink that as they see an army of thousands of men marching in, with the military powerless to stop it.

Just had Iowa PBS on and they are doing their part. There was a program on eugenics and it seemed to be stuck on convincing the cool aid drinkers that restricting immigration was the same thing as sterilizing people deemed defective. It even stated that Ann Frank would not have been sent to the death camp if not for racist anti open boarders types. And we involuntarily pay for this propaganda.
Democrats are hoping for another "family separation outrage" to hurt Trump before the election, to drive out the hispanic and stupid white female vote.

The only voters that will be outraged are treasonous democrats.
This charade is backfiring bigly for the left.
That is because President Trump knows exactly how to handle these attacks. First, your opponent makes an aggressive move which typically exposes a weakness. In the case of progressives, their typically are several exposed weaknesses. So you just use their aggression and hammer their exposed weaknesses. In the end, the stupid progs would have been better off not being aggressive.
