The unease of guys is understandable — especially white guys. Change is always unsettling, especially when there is something to lose. The person who enjoys an unfair advantage is always nervous that the exploited will rebel.

It's 7 AM here in California and I have been at the office for an hour. Last week I ended up working 7 days. Didn't get Columbus Day off yesterday. Where's this "unfair advantage" I keep hearing about?

Your advantage is the “system” that is “baked” for your success. That you have a job requiring the effort you put in is a privilege!

It’s all systemic, implicit bias that you’re not even aware of.

So you’re guilty :)

See how that works? They can point to nothing but “it must be true” because America “is a racist country”. So you’re left fighting a ghost. What is lost on them is that, in America, in 2018, just being alive here is one of the greatest privileges in all of history - with a system where *EVERYONE* can succeed. Those that are convinced they’re “victims” no nothing of what real oppression looks like. Snowflakes everywhere.

This is the entire point! To intimidate men. And especially conservative men.
