I think this is turning out to be a case of the dog catching the car bumper. This investigation should confirm what the other 6 have found, none of the key witnesses will change their statements in one week and barring a complete meltdown of the Republican leadership, Kavanaugh should be on the supreme court by next weekend. Of course the Democrats will come up with a string of new charges and witnesses this week but the investigation must concentrate on the previous charges. Hopefully the GOP leadership will be tone deaf to any new distractions.
