Ed Whelan retracted his info. and Ford denied it was him. But it makes a lot of sense that it was mistaken identity and really Garrett not Kavanaugh.
1) They were "going out" at some point during this time. i.e she liked him and he liked her. B/c Ford is so nutty she may have blocked out it was Garrett and not Kavanaugh - not wanting to believe the boy she liked to have done this to her.
2) Garrett and Kavanaugh looked similar and had the same group of friends (i.e. Judge could have been present with both of them)
3) Garrett's house was 1/2 mile from the Columbia Country Club
Whelan didn't retract his theory at all. He just apologized publicly for posting it in a way that "slandered" Garrett.
Garrett has been completely silent in this whole thing -- highly irregular for a guy who has supposedly been slandered. I haven't even seen any media reports about him.
I think he's going to make an entrance into this charade at some point -- and it's not going to bode well for Ford.
What is strange to me... myself recalling drunk boys in high school... that whoever did this never tried to kiss her. Literally the first thing any drunk boy tries to do.
I’ve had an alternative scenario in my mind, she was drunk and tired.. lay down on the bed in an upstairs bedroom. Wakes up to a drunk boy falling on her, his drunk friend laughing, as she screams he puts his hand over her mouth to shush her, laughs and attempts to get up. Pushing down on her, probably pulling at clothes to gain a hold. Friend number two proceeds to jump on both of them, because this is a fun game.
I’ve witnessed similar events at drunken parties, and no one ever got raped. But drunk people have skewed memories. Its equally strange she would go up to one of the boys who tried to rape her at the Safeway,and say hi. His uncomfortablilty could be many things... but the person who should have been TOO uncomfortable to greet him is Ford.
It needs to be determined when Ford and Garrett broke up.
If Ford was dating Garrett, wouldn’t Kav and all the friends have known her? Aren’t they all pretty much saying they don’t know her remember her?
