Felony statute changed in 2017

Doesn't matter in this case, only the law at the time of the allegation. I read somewhere that the statute of limitations at the time was 1 year.

If they don’t give a damn about getting a conviction, just think being able to use the word “felony” in a misleading headline was the goal.

The timing stinks.
