Doesn't matter in this case, only the law at the time of the allegation. I read somewhere that the statute of limitations at the time was 1 year.
Pretty sure it can NOT be retroactive.
Perhaps this extension-—and other states did the same-—is more tied to the Cosby case than anything else.
