Well, after Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) requested a delay in the floor vote, the whole nomination process was thrown into chaos again. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted this afternoon to send the Kavanaugh nomination to the Senate floor on a party-line vote. There’s still a lot of drama engulfing the Hill. Now, Sen. John Cornyn says there will be a week long FBI investigation into the allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Kavanaugh.

First laugh I've had in a week, however minimal.
Trump approved it. What in the heck was his reasoning for doing that?
Thank goodness the FBI is solidly pro-Trump and we can count on them to perform a fair and unbiased investigation that will exonerate Kavanaugh and lead to his quick confirmation.

I’m disappointed in Trump. And furious and disgusted with McConnell. It is so easy for them to get rolled by women, gays, blacks because they accept that white men and women are eeeeevil.
Now, Mr. Kavanaugh has a question mark next to his name for eternity, poor man.
Because six FBI investigations are clearly not enough.
The failure of the Senate forced Trumps hand ....again.
The top-notch investigators will be supplied by Mueller on special assignment. They know how to find dirt that no one else has ever seen. /s
