Democrat Andrew Gillum has a 5-point lead over Ron Desantis (R) in the upcoming Florida gubernatorial election, according to a poll released Tuesday.

The NBC/Marist Poll found that 48 percent of likely voters surveyed said they would vote for Gillum if the election were held today, while 43 percent said they'd support DeSantis. Seven percent of those surveyed said they remain undecided.

Results are expectedly skewed based on party affiliation, with 90 percent of Democrats backing Gillum and 86 percent voicing support for DeSantis.

Nothing pisses off the Dems more than when I let them know that Trump is playing by THEIR RULES. They have gotten virtually everything wrong that they’ve ever laid their hands on.

...and the difference is that Trump will call them out on it, while other Republicans will say (or think) something like ‘now is not the time to place blame’.

You’re right, either the Republicans learn from Trump, or they need to get out of town and be REPLACED by Republicans who are like Trump.

Are you insinuating that the dimocrats will win in November?

If more of them show up to vote than Republicans do, they will!

In Florida I see Democrats are energized. Not seeing so much energy among Republicans. Just a lot of relaxed complacency, as if a state that voted twice for Obama wouldn't possibly elect a Democrat governor. "Chill out man... Don't worry about the polls. They all said Hillary would win!"

They are not to be believed.

Did we not learn anything from 2016?
