WaPo posted a heartfelt article about Christine Blasey Ford yesterday but even with three authors, couldn't get their story right.

When Donald Trump won his upset presidential victory in 2016, Christine Blasey Ford’s thoughts quickly turned to a name most Americans had never heard of but one that had unsettled her for years: Brett M. Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh — a judge on the prestigious U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia — was among those mentioned as a possible replacement for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who died in 2016. When Trump nominated Neil M. Gorsuch, Ford was relieved but still uneasy.

Of course that whole "name that had unsettled her for years" is bogus too since she supposedly had blocked the whole thing out until a marriage counselor somehow brought the "repressed memory" back.
Yet one more proof that this whole thing is a sham and that the dems and msm are in cahoots. If it was anything more than creative writing, you would think that between the three authors, they'd have done a little fact checking. Too bad they're leftist activists rather than actual journalists.

Judge Kavanaugh was confirmed to the DC Circuit Court 12 years ago, some time before Dr. Ford had her miraculous memory recovery. He has been on many short lists for the Supreme Court ever since.

By a strange coincidence, that is the same time that Ford "remembered" being assaulted by Kavanaugh and decided to mention being assaulted to her therapist.
Do you think that Ford actually closely monitored lists of prospective Supreme Court justices?
