That’s good news, but unless Republicans go to the polls and vote for Republican candidates, it will mean nothing.

To get people to the polls you have to make them think something important is at stake. Therefore, pound on two things: The plan to impeach Pres. Trump and the border. Many Republicans seem to be running mainly the economy. That doesn’t motivate people to get out and vote.

Are the Democrat candidates saying “I don’t want a strong economy”? The question answers itself. This is why primarily focusing on the economy is so stupid. Most of the GOPe candidates will be running on it though, following the advice of their GOPe consultants not to defend the President or talk about the border. They believe that talking about the economy is “safe”, i.e. non-controversial. By following the “safe” option many of them will be goners. At least we’ll be rid of those idiots.

Typically if one bothers to register or change their registration, than that person is likely to actually vote.

So that is why this statistic is so significant. Freeper "LS" has been tracking these registration changes here for several years and accurately predicted Trump's 2016 victory based in large part on voter registration swings in key states.
