I have no idea why he’s doing interviews. The first bad one was with the NYTimes and now this one. Neither has done him any good.
Perhaps marijuana has something to do with it.
The Rogan interview was a fascinating window into Musk’s mindset...the only negative was the coarse and mundane Rogan himself.
Too bad Dick Cavett isn’t still around.
Just because someone's really smart doesn't make them always right. He doesn't know that about himself, or is in denial about it. The first real wing-ding interview of his that I recall was the one where he equated his father with Satan or Hitler or something. Chris Rock (who some years ago made up and delivered that "joke" about McCain that DJT got a lot of heat about) said that some kids need bullying, that the people who will cure cancer or replace fossil fuels will have been bullied as kids.
Yeah, it's a sort of stupid notion. :^)
Musk obviously suffers from PTSD.
He has wound up turning on everyone he's ever gone into business with (he's not the founder of Tesla, after all, although I still see him referred to in that manner; he was involved in raising capital for the company a year after it was founded). He's like a medieval sovereign, he needs a court jester to needle him with the truth, he clearly only values obsequious yes-men and yes-women.
When he publicly accused a rescuer in the Thai cave flood of being a pedophile, he proved that he shouldn’t do tweets and press releases, either.
