The minute I heard about this I took it for a fake done from within the NYT. After reading the first paragraph I was convinced of it.

No, I’m not buying into it. I think the letter is fake. The Times may believe it’s true from one of it’s sources or reporters, but there’s virtually no reason to go and make a letter like this.

It is almost certainly baloney. What they are describing is a conspiracy, and one within the white house. I don’t believe that sort of thing could go on for more than a couple of days in such a closely watched environment. Especially if there is more than one person in this conspiracy. ;-)
And further, if it DOES exist, this article would be its death.

What if the FBI is behind it?
- The FBI has been shown to plant stories in the MSM
- The FBI hates Trump
- The FBI has been trying to frame Trump having been unsuccessful in their attempt to destroy his campaign.
