But it goes back farther than that. It goes back to the Nixon DoJ agreement with AT&T to implement Affirmative Action under the oversight of the EEOC. (Some called that the Equal Employment Commission, some called it the Eventual Elimination Of Caucasians...you decide) That agreement was in exchange for the DoJ dropping some sort of anti-trust suit against AT&T. At the time, AT&T was the largest non-government employer in the free world, so once the social engineers brought AT&T to heel, all the other corporations fell meekly in line....as did us workers...who needed those jobs...to put food on the tabnle...cloths on the kids...put them through school....
