Even as Michael Cohen attorney Lanny Davis disproved media claims that his client accused President Trump of knowing about a 2016 Trump Tower meeting between campaign aides and a Russian lawyer in advance, the broadcast networks refused to correct the record. Those same networks eagerly hyped the news when it first broke in July.
