I can’t imagine how pleasant the holiday dinners are at Stephanie’s mom’s house. . .

From Fox News (December 11, 2006): Asian Leaders Angered by Rosie O'Donnell's 'Ching Chong' Comments

"The View" co-host is in hot water for using the expression "ching chong" to describe Chinese people talking about Danny DeVito's drunken appearance on her show.

"The fact is that it's news all over the world. That you know, you can imagine in China it's like: 'Ching chong … ching chong. Danny DeVito, ching chong, chong, chong, chong. Drunk. 'The View.' Ching chong," O'Donnell said on a Dec. 5 episode of "The View."

The statement didn't sit well with John C. Liu, a New York City councilman, who fired off a letter to "View" co-host Barbara Walters.

"The 'ching-chong' bit is not a trivial matter," Liu told FOXNews.com. "It really hits a raw nerve for many people in the community — many like myself, who grew up with these kinds of taunts. We all know that it never ends at the taunts."

Liu isn't the only one offended.

The Asian American Journalists Association called O'Donnell's comments a "mockery" that gives "the impression that [Asian Americans] are a group that is substandard to English-speaking people."

I am somewhat sad, because whoever won this primary, given the location of the district, would take the seat. And having this Black Racist in Congress would just add to the list of Black Idiots there. She, added to the likes of Sheila Jackson-Lee, Hank (Guam is Tipping Over) Johnson, James Clyburn, and Maxine Waters, would amplify just how poor Blacks are at sending good leaders to Congress.

“He made this movie to prove his point that the Japanese film industry made the most God-awful movies. He took a Japanese spy thriller and dubbed a whole movie of silly dialogue in English over it. LMAO.”

“Get that chicken salad recipe, ass!”

ROFL

I laughed at that movie more than any other comedy I have seen!

My father said he cannot fathom how hard-working Asians can remain in the same party as those who think “work” is walking to the mailbox to retrieve their welfare check (or elected officials who are content for them to stay that way to keep themselves in power).

We can all guess what would happen if a Republican did this, but because it ain’t, it will be swiftly swept under the rug.

“Don’t vote for ching-chang!”

Let's be fair. She immediately corrected herself. She mean to say “ching-chong.” It is an innocent slip of the tongue.

BTW, I looked at the ACU voting records of both candidates. Bettie Cook-Scott is an 89% leftist. Chang is 84% leftist. What a treat for the voters in this district... two moonbats. Chang will be replacing State Sen. Coleman Young, Jr., an 86% leftist.

This was for a State Senate race, not the US Senate.

Why are they? (Asians in rat party). Unlike with Blacks and Hispanics I don’t see how dems would succeed in saying Republicans were racist against them.

Oh well, she’d still have lots of “black company” in the State Senate, right? I just imagine that there are any number of Maxine Waters clones in public office in Michigan.

Coleman Young’s father was the sole reason for Detroit’s collapse. He was mayor for twenty years.

Because, sadly, a lot of Asians believe in Socialism and a leftist social safety net (which isn’t, of course).

Not the sole reason. Democrat Jerry Cavanagh (1962-70) really got the ball rolling as a true believer in leftist policies like the “Great Society.” The White middle class took flight. Conservative Democrat Roman Gribbs (1970-74) tried to clean up the mess, but the damage was done and Whites became a minority. Gribbs didn’t bother to run for a second term because his constituency was vanishing.

The racist Communist Coleman Young, Sr’s ascension to power in 1974 made it plain that Whitey wasn’t welcome in Motown, and out went all but the last of the White folks.

And a lot of seniors, millenials, women, blacks and illegal immigrants.
