Former FBI official Peter Strzok has reacted to his firing from the FBI, saying on a newly-created Twitter account that he was “deeply saddened” by the decision.
Strzok, the former deputy chief of counterintelligence, was fired Friday following an investigation into anti-Trump text messages he exchanged with his mistress, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page.
“It has been an honor to serve my country and work with the fine men and women of the FBI,” Strzok wrote, linking to a Go Fund Me page that has been set up to raise money on his behalf.

Jennifer Kay, a spokeswoman for Strzok’s attorney, confirmed the authenticity of the account.
Strzok’s lawyer, Aitan Goelman, said in a statement that the FBI’s deputy director decided to fire Strzok despite a recommendation from the bureau’s personnel division that he be suspended for 60 days and demoted.

Every agent, to a person, should lose their job when they become overtly political! If you can keep your political opinion out of your work, whether you are Right or Left, then fair enough. At my last job, the manager was hard core Left and everyone knew. We who are Conservative were well advised to keep our mouths shut, or suffer needless personal consequences. I would have left earlier, but it was the only job in town back then. Why is anybody surprised he was fired?? The FIB is supposed to act/behave in a NON-PARTISAN MANNER. PERIOD.

That’s why I think Strzok is Brennan, Clapper or Comey’s dupe. They found a fool to do their dirty work with very little prodding.
Strzok just doesn’t seem that smart. He can’t control himself emotionally, verbally or sexually, and he has zero self-awareness - he seems to fully believe his own propaganda.
The unbelievable character of these people, McCabe, Strzok, just floors me.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that this is what floated to the top of the kenyan’s punch bowl. These people were promoted precisely because of who they are.
