I am hopeful, but not expecting, an October surprise that will motivate the Republican/Trump base to get people to turn out in November. If the Republican/Trump base turns out, it could very well be a Red wave and not a Blue one.

Dan Bongino has a good piece on this (1 hr). He says the guy they (Steele and the FBI) were protecting was either Julian Assange or Oleg Deropaska. If it was Oleg, then the FBI and DNC were working with a Russian to influence/steal the election. Why is Assange being asked to meet with the Senate Intelligence committee? Is it to give him asylum in exchange for what he knows and to get him to shut up? There is no stopping this now.

Deripaska also has close connections to John McCain and even Bob Dole. Connections far closer than any to Pres. Trump.

More importantly. Why do Putin linked or controlled entities keep hiring Steele and Simpson if they are such “enemies” of Putin ?
Which ballots? Which county? How many. Republican? Democrat? What States? Did they have a voter ID card?

I think this is a very real possibility. When a Republican is in the White House, it is very difficult to spark interest in midterms among Republucan voters. It’s just a political reality - Republican voters get complacent and wish to forget about politics and just live their lives.
One silver lining people don’t talk about: even if the Dems take the House and Senate, it is extremely unlikely that they will pursue impeachment and removal.
Why? Because they are beginning to realize that continued investigation into alledged Trump wrongdoings regarding the 2016 election carries with it the risk of exposing Democrat wrongdoings regarding the 2016 election. In the last several months, new revelations are just as likely to implicate Democrats as Trump.
If they win back the House and Senate, I bet they’ll cut their losses with 2016 issues and refocus on their MAWA agenda (Mane America Worse Again).
That’s my theory anyway. What do you think?
Intriguing. If they're protecting Assange they haven't done anything for him that is apparent. He's stuck in limbo. If the feds wanted to help him they have plenty of options. Unless there's something else going on.
