China we tried the completely opposite approach. We decided we would NOT try to change the system there. Not directly. We would compromise with it.
Now thirty years later, the same system is in charge in China. It now is a giant. Running a MASSIVE trade surplus with us, because they have taken a huge part of what used to be our own manufacturing base.
