While President Donald Trump was roasting late-night hosts in front of a packed political rally in South Carolina, several of those same network and cable funnymen took swipes at White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. They celebrated the rural Virginia restaurant that organized a staff-led resistance to serving Sanders, her family, and friends one host noting Sanders should be grateful she didnt get served semen. Seth Myers
Leading the way was NBC late-night host Seth Myers, who said, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant in Virginia on Friday because she worked for the Trump administration. Which is weird, because usually people who work for the Trump administration are asked to leave the Trump administration.
Im not saying I want everyone who works for Trump to be kicked out every time they go to a restaurant, Myers added. I just want them to worry that they will be for the entire meal. Because that is just a taste of the unease and dread so many people feel every day because of Trumps policies.

I have to agree. The whole keep it classy routine is downright stupid these days. Its actually one of my pet peeves when I read comments on these boards. The left despices us. The left wants to harm is. The left doesnt not even respect our humanity. Yet, some fools post keep it classy and think they are showing some great insight. Hell if I were a lefty trolling this board, I would laugh at anyone who would post such a moronic response.
Now I step down from my soapbox
What has me shaking my head is that this is a pretty funny line, very much in line with the classic Carson style:
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant in Virginia on Friday because she worked for the Trump administration. Which is weird, because usually people who work for the Trump administration are asked to leave the Trump administration.
Rimshot!
But then he has to virtue-signal by adding:
“Because that is just a taste of the unease and dread so many people feel every day because of Trumps policies.
WHY add that? Why not just stick to the funny line and move on? “Comedians” have forgotten how to just be funny and not strive for “relevance” among their snooty liberal friends.
Colbert absolutely damns the entire “left”, confirming that they are evil, petty, vindictive, irrational, and hateful.
Imagine Johnny Carson, Steve Allen or Jack Paar using the word “ejaculate” in their Monologue.
Let the left keep acting like this. They are turning more and more people away. Trump KNOWS this which is why he continually keeps poking them with sticks.
They wonder why their ratings are going south! Folthy language and despicable statements about food servers.
Seth just gave the left another tactic to try.
Between Mad Max and the hardcore lefties, GOP should win in a walk.
Yep, that was a good line, but like anything else, he had to ruin it with a follow up Partisan cheap shot.
I figured he added the last sentence so his Audience would feed on their shared ignorance.
Imagine him trying to explain in detail which Trump policies cause such unease and dread. He can’t and won’t.
My personal practice...avoid almost 100 percent of modern or “hip” entertainment. Many, many of them are gonna end up working for low wages somewhere...or be a slave to something that will kill them.
They didnt start the trend to public vulgarity...they just helped it along...after seeing their end...wouldnt it have been better if someone intervened in their life?
But the language has changed and peoples acceptance of public sexual behaviour and speaking. That type of society will not survive long. Theyll be too tired from sex and inebriation to fight off those who arent so distracted. If not destroyed by others...they will not have the energy to fight off entropy.
This reminds me a little how the left went after Linda Tripp. The left has no solid arguments and thus all they can sprout is hate and more hate and to make personal, irrational attack on anybody who doesn’t cater to them.

The shows are both a bit of history and timeless, real comedy.
This was in the early 70s
Not only did they raise the price of their labor, but they now remind me that I may or may not be able to trust the people preparing my food, either?!?
Whats my motivation to out? Homemade is risk free, cheaper and better for me.
BTT
Yes and it was the result of specific racial grievence, notvthat it maded it okay. Im saying no one in my group of coworkers between 1975 and 1978 would have done that to anyone for any reason. Just seems sad how many stories seem to pop up these days.
To be honest. The waitress didnt like long hair types. These were long hairs types it was a take-out order. Back in 71 long hair was not as prevalent as it was just a few years later.
I told her she was a POS
The fact that the chef was flamingly Gay hasnt changed. Lots in the food industry . I wouldnt want to eat the food this guy prepared. Who knows where his hands had been.
