These Russians were literally met at the airport by groups who showed them the ropes-——they got everything.

Neighbors of mine applied for Senior Housing-—they had lived in the city their entire lives,raised a family there,and BOTH of them,husband and wife, were WWII vets. They were moving up on the list and Boom!-—the elderly Russian refugees were all put at the top of the list.
Our city had a weekly,local,newspaper and they started publishing one page a week,all in Russian. There were only TWO words in English,MEDICARE and MEDICAID.
I can see wanting to help others but not by kicking citizens aside.
