I am reading all of these posts and I don’t understand what is the”cave”. Aren’t these people still arrested, still having to face the court and still having to go back to where they came from if it is determined they don’t meet the criteria? There is no catch and release? Am I wrong?

Yup. Trump should have went on offense with this issue. Anytime the Left feels like they’ve influenced politics in here and now through a temper tantrum, they’ll be emboldened.
