British political operatives were in contact with Russian ambassador while meeting with Trump

Two British political operatives were reportedly in contact with the Russian ambassador to the U.K. while they campaigned for and met with President Trump in 2016, CNN reported.

Arron Banks and Andy Wigmore played prominent roles in the successful 2016 Brexit campaign for the U.K. to leave the European Union (EU).

After the U.K. voted to leave the EU in June, Banks and Wigmore attended a Trump rally in Mississippi with the leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party, Nigel Farage, who was a prominent supporter of leaving the EU.

Trump introduced Farage, who was speaking at the event, as "the man behind Brexit."

According to social media posts, Banks and Wigmore also attended the last presidential debate in Las Vegas in October 2016. Banks told CNN that he also attended a Trump campaign event in St. Louis.

The two men were among the few Britons who visited Trump at Trump Tower in New York City following his victory in the election, according to CNN.

Where are these endless new 'revelations' coming from?

To me this appears to be an effort to 'plant new facts' to gum up the works.

This seems to be reverse-engineering of events. The people involved in creating the Russia narrative have to keep inserting new 'evidence' to cover their crimes.

Sounds to me like a bunch of BS. Leftist sources trying to make something out of nothing.

Two British guys who had met a Russian Ambassador once attended a couple of Trump rallies....that’s it? That’s all they got?

This is ridiculous.

Here, fixed it:

Two British activists were rumored to have been in touch with the Russian ambassador to the U.K. while they campaigned for and met with presidential candidate Trump in 2016, according to the left wing website CNN.

These new 'revaluations' are coming out because they're losing control of their narrative.

As more facts are revealed they have to go back and update their narrative.

It's the old adage about having to remember all the 'facts' of a lie when it's easier to remember the truth.

It sounds like some Russian operatives passed wind and it floated across the Atlantic to affect the atmosphere in Trump Tower. A NASA geothermal satellite detected the emission by tracking a .00000024789% increase in temperature to confirm the Russian’s poor etiquette.

“The two men were among the few Britons who visited Trump at Trump Tower in New York City following his victory in the election”

“During that time, Banks and Wigmore were also in contact with the Russian ambassador, Alexander Yakovenko”.

“A few days after the Trump Tower meeting, the two men met with Yakovenko.”

Farage said people would ask the two if they were “reporting back” to Yakovenko, but Wigmore said they only provided the ambassador with a phone number for the Trump transition team after he asked them how to connect with Trump.

WOW! This happened in November of 2016, after the election, and the Russian Ambassador didn’t know who or how to contact Trump’s team or Trump. That is pretty solid proof there was no collusion with the Russians.

In other news, a Trump campaign worker was found on RussianBrides.com, clearly showing collusion between Trump and Putin.

None of this explains how a person could sway an election. Trump spent less money than Hillary by far. Trump had few ads, and the Russians only had $100,000 worth, which is less than .1% of Hillary’s ads. The Russians did not campaign for Trump, they did not knock on doors. So how did the Russians help Trump. If they released the emails, how did they get Podesta to set his password to Password. How did they get Donna Brazil to give Hillary the questions to the debates. How did they get foreign powers to give the Clinton foundation lots of money. How did they get Hillary to tell Chelsea what really happened in Benghazi while she was lying to the rest of America.

Maybe they can drum up some Russian connection like six degrees to Kevin Bacon. But they can’t show how Russians helped us believe that Hillary was a worse person than we already knew she was.

Ooh, they gave the Russian ambassador a phone number — I am old enough to remember when everyone’s phone number was in a big book that you had in your house. Then the menacing Russkies could have looked it up there and made it ring for all we know.

“Hello, this is the Russian ambassador. I support you. Your people can never be free again. Do the math. My support places tentacles around every citizen. See? Can you even breathe?”

COME ON !!!!

I mean, come on.

I’ve heard the Trump hotels buy Russian salad dressing in five gallon containers.

So there you go.

Part of the partisan effort to discredit BRexit as well by saying that the public was lured into it by Russian influence.

Never mind 70 years of KGB and Kremlin efforts to influence the Democrats.

The media was all too happy to position Donald Trump as the GOP candidate. They gave him the lion’s share of time at the primary debates, let him suck up all of the air in the room in news coverage (they acknowledge he was good for ratings), and thought that he would suppress “conservative” and “evangelical” voter turnout with scandals that had long been deemed irrelevant by the press and voters.

The Democrats and Clintons thought it was going to be a cakewalk.

Soooo....We allow embassies and ambassadors into our country from all kinds of countries, yet no one is allowed to talk with them. Oh. Ok. An incoming transition team is not allowed to talk to any foreigners. Is there no end to the stupidity?
