Why is it that Democrat states always have the highest taxes, along with the worst roads?
Democrats are about growing the public unions with do-nothing jobs. Each union member forks over their union dues which winds up in the political war chests of Democrat representatives. This campaign money ultimately goes into back pockets after a money laundering process. Back pockets are the only pot holes these criminals are interested in filling.
I must say that I have worked for almost 40 years as an institutional equities trader in LA. I’m retired recently but I used to talk to NY all day long .... and I have entertained visitors from NYC for many years.
Almost everyone from NYC talks about how great California roads are ... and they are good. Every once in awhile there might be a pot hole ... but a call to CalTrans means it will be repaired .... sometimes in 24 hours.
The roads are great ... but we do have a problem with the sidewalks that NEVER seem to get repaired. Tree roots burst through the sidewalk and distort the ability to walk safely.
But roads ... fine.

I live in one of the Reddest Counties in TX. My city should be renamed pothole capital of Texas. I try to remember where they are, but hit one two weeks ago by our Post Office. Bam, I had to spend nearly a thousand dollars for repairs to my car.
I saw some creative folks putting up little soccer cones one night, and pouring a concrete mixture to do a covert repair job near their house.
I would welcome Domino’s fixing our Potholes. Our local Politicians have never seemed that interested in the plethora of potholes.
