Irish hospitals with a Catholic ethos will be expected to carry out abortions when new laws on terminations come into effect, the Irish prime minister has said.
Leo Varadkar said doctors, nurses or midwives could opt out of performing procedures on conscience grounds.
However, entire institutions will not have that option.
Mr Varadkar was addressing concerns about surgical abortions raised in the Dáil (Irish parliament).

Hmmm... I guess they just don’t have enough abortion mills to meet the staggering demand in Ireland.
The big difference between the Irish and us Americans is that abortion was forced upon us by a Supreme Court decision. The Irish people decided it themselves.
Erase and Replace.
I would be amazed if Francis mentions this when he visits Ireland. I’d be still more amazed if he offered a few words of rebuke.
i can’t figure it out....
so many people in quite nice or successful countries....
committing mass suicide, to use your term suicide, like lemmings or?
why?
why die out?
what’s the point?
and it took mankind thousands of years to create western countries (plus Japan etc) and pretty good lifestyles that one finds in such nations... only to abandon faith, tradition, culture, and national survival..?
and then to import ENEMY hate-filled people from societies that breed mass=murderers, terrorists by the thousands and thousands
why that, too? to make damned sure your country, society, family dies (or at least winds up conquered and enslaved in a few years)?
its Nuts
I simply cannot fathom why... any of this self-destructive behaviour on such a mass scale today
I'm not sure the implications of that, but wouldn't they just get in line with a whole lot of other countries?
so if no doctors or nurses do it, what can a hospital do?....
I’ll bet money they don’t perform abortions.
