Two Norwegian lawmakers have nominated President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize after the Singapore summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Christian Tybring-Gjedde and Per-Willy Amundsen, lawmakers with the populist Progress Party, told Norwegian news agency NTB on Wednesday that Trump “had taken a huge and important step in the direction of the disarmament, peace and reconciliation between North and South Korea.”(continued)

I believe it was Norway I just heard on FNC late last night or early this morning that has requested that we double the number of U.S. military personnel (I can’t remember what branch, if the piece said) stationed there. I didn’t even realize that we had people there. Interesting to know that someone in Europe still lurvs us. Guess it’s the Trump effect...they saw how he got Little Rocket Man to the negotiating table and decided he/we could be trusted/counted on even more than they already knew.
