I believe you are on the right track. Excuses for years. Any Secret GJ would be moot. They are not related. Just more BS regarding white/black hats, red/blue pills, etc... Both sides are playing the game and milking it for all its worth. In the long run, nothing will be done.

An insidious crisis of confidence has developed and grown during Mr. Sessions’ tenure. People have lost faith in the DOJ and FBI and no longer perceive our nation’s laws as being equitable, fair or applicable to the ruling elites and their bureaucratic sycophants.
Sessions is to a large degree responsible for this erosion of trust and faith in our government. He bears direct responsibility.
The Clintons thoroughly corrupted the FBI in the 1990s and it has gone down hill since then.

Its become a sad reality for many of us.
But Trump is trying to right the ship for us. So much depends on us supporting him.
Sessions stepped back and got himself out of the gunsights. He has brought many stalwarts of the deep state into the light.
Trump plays the long game. He wants to win this thing, not immolate himself and the country in a blaze of light and sound. It doesn't seem right to those who can't see past next week I suspect, because it means the connivers and gangsters don't get their just deserts before time for the 10 o'clock news tonight.
Perhaps the time for the takedown is in the early fall where it will tend to decrease the Demmunists' representation in House and Senate. The classic and best battle tactic from Hannibal to the present and surely well into the future is Double Envelopment as at Cannae. The wings do not destroy themselves and cause the battle to be lost in a frontal assault against the enemy center. Sessions is one wing infiltrating to the Deep State left. I suspect Horowitz is the other wing going around to the Enemy right.
I feel so sorry for the President sometimes as I am sure he never imagined having so many enemies when all he is trying to do is restore our country to its former greatness. Who could possibly object to that?

This was like the final straw to make me think the left had full control and could do literally anything they wanted. I was listening to Rush that day and noon newsbreak, our local KFYI reporter said Bill Clinton has delayed his departure from Phoenix to meet Lynch’s inbound plane... yet when it leaked and became national news, it was reported as a chance meeting and never corrected. The truth was immediately just some conspiracy theory.
Trumps Tweet on Brennen today is an example of how his drip drip drip treatment is driving the left crazy. He now controls the Federal govt and the release of all this info. This is like Chinese water torture to them.
Brennen, Clapper, Comey are in for a long ride. He’s gonna slow walk this into the heart of the election season.

That is precisely one of the objectives of the Left. By attacking Trump like this they are also sending a message to future would be presidents who aspire to be like him. It also serves to intimidate many potential conservative office seekers. The message clearly is “we will make you and your family regret it if you try it”.
