Our resident Putinistas will no doubt wholeheartedly agree with that. McGruff is president of the FR KGB Putin Fan Club.

There it is! Those of you who haven’t done so should read enough of the history of the Korean War to know what’s really happening behind the scenes. You will be quite surprised, enlightened and might even improve your chances of survival in the very near future.

Russia and putin like in 1950, are irrelevant in the current discourse
North Korea and China are all that matter and must meet the demands of Donald Trump, Japan and South Korea.
Kim is being offered an opportunity to live or die

"Whats your recommended reading?"
No particular book. I read some books about the history of the War long ago and listened to some veterans. There are many good publications on the Internet about it now. Even saw some accurate material at Wikipedia (changes there always possible, though).
Something to look for would be information about how Russia and China were behind much of it. Expansion is very important to those nations, and they don't like to lose any real estate or populations.
