Seoul, South Korea (CNN)North Korea says Kim Jong Un is still willing to meet Donald Trump "at any time and in any way," after the US President abruptly canceled what would have been a historic summit between the two leaders scheduled for June.
Kim Kye Gwan, a top official at North Korea's Foreign Ministry, said in comments published Friday by the country's state-run news agency KCNA that Trump's decision runs counter to the global community's wishes for peace on the Korean Peninsula.
"We reiterate to the US that we are willing to sit face to face at any time and in any way," said Kim, who has negotiated with US counterparts for years. "I would like to conclude that President Trump's statement on the North Korea-US summit is a decision that is not in line with the wishes of the who hope for the peace and stability of the Korean peninsula as well as the world."

Why did Kim do this ??? BECAUSE he and his father before him pulled this crap with the Clintons, Madeline Albright, and Obama and got away with it. Now they face a Reagan type Trump that knows how they think and I would expect him now to drop the hammer and add a lot more stipulations to the deal or NO DEAL will be made. They never read his book and thinks all Americans are like the Clinton/ Obama push over pussies. LOL I love this. And of course the American press don’t get it either, the morons.
Kim would be only too happy for the opportunity to jerk around the US for many happy months to come.
Left our folks stranded instead of bring them in for the “destruction” of some nuke proving grounds and catering to the Chinese who want a commie buffer between S. Korea and them ain’t the way to go....Kim wet himself and filled his shorts when Trump called his bluffs....
