Good news - !

Was this a primary? The second part of title is “faces rematch with Mitchell in November”. What is the “flip” part of the title referring to? Does it refer to a D to R flip???

Was it State House or US House? I did read the article btw...

There were two separate elections: A special general election for the remainder of the current term (which ends in early January) and a regular primary election for the two-year term that begins in January (for which the general election will be held in November). Republican Tim O’Neal beat the Democrat Mitchell in the special general election, so he will serve in the state House of Representatives through early January. O’Neal also won the GOP primary (he was unopposed) for the two-year term that will run from Jan. 2019 to Jan. 2021, and he will face Mitchell (who won the Democrat primary) in the November general election.
