One of his girlfriends/flunkies was the real talent anyway.
He’s been a POS since at least November 2000, when one of his best buddies, George “Aw, gee, Biff” McFly Bush was his biggest target.
I saw Seinfeld a few years ago. The guy is hilarious. Funnier than his show even.
I loved and still love The Seinfeld Show. The popular comics today are pathetic and, quite frankly, not funny.
All these late night shows, unfunny " woke comedy" (which is neither woke nor comedic), and other entertainment is just anger trying to be disguised as comedy. Its unfunny and people are getting tired of it. Its why Rosanne is #1 and Tim Allen got his show renewed.
Why alienate half your money? This Summer at the Borgota tickets are $100 to $170. And he is doing 2shows, He gets paid well , no doubt, the fans will drop more than $200 each in the casino, restaurants.
Good for Jerry, his stock just increased imho.
Both may be liberals, but there’s a world of difference.
Seinfeld - hilarious, focuses on the mundane, reasonably cute, married to someone his own age.
Letterman - repetitively not funny (top 10 forever, following unfunny everymen, and doing stupid experiments), goes into politics (except Clinton! He was above it all with Clinton), shacks up with far younger girls (like Trump - they have something in common!) and diddles anyone, and is UGLY.
He knows better than to eliminate half his potential earnings with a few stupid comments.
Shania Twain, Kathy Griffith, et al...................
Seinfeld is really a NYer, and while you might not think Trump is loved in NYC given his vote numbers there, those who identify with him there REALLY identify with him. They “get” Trump, and Seinfeld likely knows people who are in that group, and probably has a type of respect for him as a larger-than-life figure.
A lot of Jews are likely rethinking their stance on President Trump after today!
Was Letterman ever funny?
Seinfeld is very clever in his observational humor. He talks about everyday things that most people can relate to, even silly things, things that they may have thought of themselves. The parakeet flying into the mirror is classic. It’s gold, Jerry! Gold!
Johnny Carson once said “If you are in entertainment never take sides in politics because you will lose half your audience no matter what side you pick”......That’s the philosophy Seinfeld practices and why he’s one of the worlds most successful comedians.
I recently attended a comedy show in Boston. 5 or six comedians, 3 of them tried a “Trump” joke, no laughter at all. All three “jokes” fell flat. And this was in Boston.
..good on Seinfeld.
Twenty years ago today the Seinfeld finale aired.
Time flies!
Will Jerry take Trump out for a car ride and some coffee like he did Barry?
Letterman has gone full Randy Quaid in appearance.
