A lot of Jews are likely rethinking their stance on President Trump after today! Doubtful.

Oh he’s definitely had asshats on his show (although the main reason we EVER knew Griffin is BECAUSE of the Seinfeld show - only!). Including Letterman - even supposed to be someone that Susan lusted after (yuch).

Johnny Carson once said “If you are in entertainment never take sides in politics because you will lose half your audience no matter what side you pick”......That’s the philosophy Seinfeld practices and why he’s one of the worlds most successful comedians.

Letterman and his sidekicks were very funny back in the 1980s, before he got mean and bitter. The skits and banter with Paul Shaffer, Chris Elliott, Biff Henderson, Larry “Bud” Melman, Brother Theodore and Letterman’s take on the absurd aspects of life in New York City were funny. I don’t recall any (or very little) political humor back then, i.e., anti-Reagan stuff.

I recently attended a comedy show in Boston. 5 or six comedians, 3 of them tried a “Trump” joke, no laughter at all. All three “jokes” fell flat. And this was in Boston.

Yes. He was a hoot in the early days of Late Night. His supporting cast was hilarious. Remember Larry Bud Melman and Chris Elliot as Big Man and The Guy Under The Seats? Then Lettermans head began to swell.

When he was in his late 30s, Seinfeld had a four-year romantic relationship with high school student Shoshanna Lonstein who was 17 years old when they began dating.
To: rktman
Here's the thing: Seinfeld make millions per year from the worldwide syndication "residuals" for the Seinfeld TV series. He don't want to do anything to end that gravy train.

Seinfeld is taking the position that he is in business because of ALL people and it makes NO sense to deliberately piss off at least half of them....
..good on Seinfeld.

I suppose next you'll be telling me he's moving to Alabama to run for the Senate.

Actually they broke-up when she turned 21 since she could buy beer on her own.

Jerry Seinfeld married Jessica Sklar in 1999. She was previously married to Robert Nederlander. She met Seinfeld when she got back from her Italian honeymoon, dumped hubby and later married Seinfeld.

“Jerry Seinfeld married Jessica Sklar in 1999. She was previously married to Robert Nederlander. “
That would be Eric. Either that divorce had a lasting traumatic effect on Eric, or Sklar really dodged a bullet, if the following Google result is any indication:
Eric Nederlander, a Broadway producer with a history of disputes with the women in his life, claims that postpartum depression caused him to

Well, I didn’t know either of them was quite so old, but I remember hearing that she was younger.
They’ve been married eighteen years, and have three kids, so that’s something.

#34 Now that is funny!
and probably true...
