France and the French lack the genitals to enforce their laws. The “Lack” is a historic problem. Some call them yellow.

France chose to colonize Muslim areas of Africa.
Then it admitted those Muslim Africans into France to provide cheap labor.
Those Muslim Africans are far more fertile than the native French. Muslim African families have 2.6 children per household. The native french have 1.6 children per household.
Those children grow up, make money, go to school and many choose to preserve and promote their culture over the native French.
The native French were naive and too arrogant to understand the changes they were making to their own culture.

We really do not have an ally i can think of. We have nations that pretend the are friends, but mostly want to use our military power or gain financially from us. Nothing else.
And George Washington’s main warning to us was to avoid entangling alliances anyway.

A better question in light of the importation of Islam is “Is the French government an ally of the French People?”
Yes. I don’t know about the Germans. I would think that the people who brought us the Holocaust would have enough sense not to import Islamic terrorists. I suspect it ends in genocide by one side or the other.

Depends on how you define ally. If it means friend through thick and thin, none of continental western europe is an ally.If you mean lip service friend who takes all the benefits of a friendship and provides none, then they are a true ally. I like to think of them as acquaintances whom occasionally you have to give the back of your hand to remind them you do not need them. That is the reality.
