I think most of these guys have been mired in a kind of psychological quicksand most of their lives. The harder they struggled, the worse it got. They became incels when they finally gave up. They needed help starting many, many years go and of course they never got any. Given the current man-hating, especially white man-hating, culture, it is doubtful they ever will. These men will be going it alone from here on in, like it or not.

I remember an episode of MASH where Radar brought home a Korean woman with a baby, who he told everyone was his. It was, of course, eventually discovered by blood types that it could not be his. He confided to Haweye that he had never been with a woman and he just wanted everyone to think he was a normal guy but now everyone thinks he is even more of a loser. Hawkeye told him that it was OK, he was OK, and that if he just kept being the nice guy he was, eventually someone would come along and it would happen. This is the kind of input boys don't get anymore, but which they really, really, desperately need. They would not allow this sort of thing to happen to girls. Who says there isn't a war on boys?
