But it's a letter to Sessions - where all things go to die..or shuffled off to another 'investigation' - with no prosecutorial powers

To Sessions? Yes. Also to the IG Huber and the FBI Director Wray.

There is a lot of public outrage about this. Not mass knowledge yet, but it is coming.
