Justice Department IG Horowitz predicts Clinton email report will be out in May

Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz expects his wide-ranging report on the FBI and DOJ’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe to be finished next month and has been asked to testify before the House oversight committee on May 8, according to letters reviewed by Fox News.

Horowitz addressed the timing in a letter to Senator Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

He wrote that the report, which began in January 2017 with bipartisan support, has been extended due to “potentially important additional information and documents that recently came to our attention, and the interviews they have required us to conduct.” Horowitz continued, “my expectation is that we will issue our report in May, absent any new developments.”

A former member of the House oversight committee said the release of an IG report typically is followed by public testimony.

The Office of the Inspector General has not commented on the substance of the case, timing or new leads investigators are pursuing.

And the FBI emails will take 3 years.

Really tired of waiting...

I hope it is worth it, and not a nothingburger.

We’ve already lost attorney-client privilege;
evidence being needed for a FISA warrant;
warrants for searches that are required to list the specific things to be sought; etc.

There’s not much left of our judicial system...

The release of this report is always a month away.

The only thing that moves fast in the DOJ is the effort to take down Trump.

The additional information and documents are not is not good news for Hillary, McCabe, Comey, Lynch, or Obama.

.
The Obama Appointee is using staff to run weak iterations, ensuring the report is weak as it possibly can be.

The only thing cranking out of a Session’s Dept, is Get Trump at all Cost Operation.

Look at the sensibility of the IG, he doesn’t want to name the person that shut down four separate Clinton Foundation Investigations!

In the NY Court room, the DOj Rep said they could not wait 24 hours to examine Files and Property already in their possession.

Compare that to Sessions slow walk, Protect Hillary Tour.

I agree. It seems like a lot of people are buying into CTH or Q...I heard Coulter calling Trump an ‘idiot’ for dissing horowitz and Sessions.

Bizarro world.

The DoJ is pussyfooting around until the Statute of Limitations expires on all of the higher-ups, including Bildebeast, Hildabeast, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Lynch, Holder, Strzok, his mistress and everyone else in the FBI who was involved in the attempt to kill Trump’s presidency.

Higher-ups protecting the higher-ups so that there would be no retribution after the dims win an election.

This letter was released on the same day as the McCabe report and Fox is just reporting it now?

Issuing a report is one thing, having something actually done to the perps as a result is something entirely different. Heck, the MSM won’t mention anything about the report, and the DOJ probably won’t prosecute itself.

Wasn’t this report supposed to be put in January?

Horowitz continued, “my expectation is that we will issue our report in May, absent any new developments.”

In May of 2025, that is. What’s the rush?

“...potentially important additional information and documents that recently came to our attention...”

Probably a lot of fabricated exculpatory information that proves once-and-for-all that Hillary is as pure as the driven snow. They've had plenty of time to destroy damning evidence and replace it with new 'facts'...

They are just waiting for the statute of limitations to run out on the key players and for everyone to get their lies...er I mean stories..straight.

That was shot before Trump came on the scene.
