A Russian investigative journalist who wrote about the deaths of mercenaries in Syria has died in hospital after falling from his fifth-floor flat.
Maxim Borodin was found badly injured by neighbours in Yekaterinburg and taken to hospital, where he later died.
Local officials said no suicide note was found but the incident was unlikely to be of a criminal nature.

A public execution with just enough deniability to allow Putin’s poodles to continue barking Kremlin talking points. One wonders what that spin will be on this one? I suspect they will impinge the honor of the deceased.
In Russia this passes for ‘natural causes’. That said, we’re not that much better these days.

Not to mention all those ex spies, who just happen to run into poison gas or eat poison polonium. I sure would hate to be friends with Putin and then get on his wrong side.

There is a new show out called McMafia. A rival gang killed an associate of a Russian mobster by throwing him off his balcony. Czech police ruled a suicide but the mobster re-examined the apartment and found a broken fingernail in the heater register on the floor that came off as he was being dragged to the balcony.
Not at all...............unless there was no balcony...............
