Naivete, good intentions, and gentle discipline are recipes for disaster.
Obama is an imbecile. These flunkies do not want to be bothered doing anything difficult or disciplined. None of them deserve a job more sophisticated than fast food service.

The entire concept of public schooling as we know it has come under intense question. Maybe it needs to be more voluntary. There is no balance because people are not bringing God into it from home. Comparing to yesteryear is vain if it is based on but one factor.

The church will perhaps, like Christ on earth, have to seemingly go kaput before it rises again. Not so as to violate scriptural promise, but so as to vindicate the glory of God.

Please let's not pretend that there are good intentions here. Behaviorists have known for decades (and ordinary common sense has dictated for thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years) that behavior you punish is suppressed, behavior you're neutral toward continues, and behavior you reward increases in severity and frequency.

The Promise Program rewards violent and/or antisocial behavior. Ending it is one form of "common sense" gun reform we should get behind.

n fact,” she said, “our district’s overall disciplinary incidents have dropped since we adopted the new policy

Is this not something of a tautology in that there are necessarily fewer disciplinary incidents because discipline is simply not administered thus there are fewer incidents than when crimes were dealt with disciplinarily
