To Answer Assad's Latest Atrocity, Trump Should Go No-Fly
New York Post ^ | April 9, 2018 | NY Post editorial board

President Trump was instantly tweeting tough about Bashar al-Assad’s latest atrocity, the gassing of civilians in rebel-held Eastern Ghouta. But America’s response this time should be more than Trump’s answer to Assad’s use of chemical weapons a year ago.

It’s time for Washington to declare a no-fly zone in Syria east of the Euphrates, the region Trump freed from ISIS occupation. Assad and his Russian and Iranian allies don’t deserve to win the fruits of America’s war there, nor should Turkey be allowed to take its insane vendetta against the Kurds into an area the Trump administration liberated.

If America pulls out, as Trump suggested earlier in the month, the forces who helped defeat ISIS and the civilians they now protect will be at the mercy of thugs just as brutal.

Well, it would save the government money if Trump stopped using Air Force One.

Didn’t Trump just last week say he wanted to prepare to leave Syria?

And then, suddenly, all the media are telling us about another Putin/Assad chemical attack, milking us for outrage.

Hmmmm

Uh -- no.

Same sh!t, different decade.

Where are the Congressional hearings with "victims" claiming they saw Syrian troops removing babies from incubators in a Ghouta hospital?

Even the Times says it was Syria (although they used the word “blame” in the headline, to get that extra jab in for the people who only read headlines).

Is there any actual evidence from independent/non-Islamist sources that “Assad” carried out this “attack”? Or is that simply being assumed without any actual verification?

Well, the rebels don’t have helicopters. Aside from the ludicrous assmuption that they would bomb themselves.

If you believe this nonsense coming out of Syria, then you wouldn’t be able to read it regardless of how I spelled it.

Of course they have incentive to bomb themselves - a false-flag in order to prompt outside intervention on their behalf. This is a complex war with many sides, and we have to think cynically about the motivations of all the different “actors” here.

Don’t bother, this guy doesn’t even have a clue who the White Helmets are. He knows nothing.

Gee, ya think maybe that's a sign that we shouldn't be there in the first place?

America needs to leave Syria now. This is a gamble by ISIS to turn Syria into its own territory backed by Soros.

The issue in Syria is about who is gonna be in control (route) of a natural gas pipeline. Saudi Arabia or Iran(Russia) for sale to Eastern Europe and then there is Israel who wants more land. Global agenda and one side (allies), the players want to use OUR military to determine the dispute for SA. Syria chemical attack was to keep US in Syria. Sickos! CIA dark op? Let’s get outta dodge & allow all those other folks to duke it out or go to the negotiating table! Done fighting over this 💩!

That’s what Reagan said about Lebanon back in 1983, and he was certainly vindicated on that point over time. “This is an ungodly mess, but thankfully, it doesn’t need to be ours”...

How is it known that the toxic chemicals were not released as collateral damage from some other kind of attack? What would happen if a traditional attack ruptured a tank of poisonous chemicals?

Unless there is solid, independent intelligence to establish what actually happened it is premature to start more violence. After all, collateral damage from US intervention in the area has killed hundreds of civilians, children included. The goal should be less bombing, not more.

Of course, Obama was for the Syrians, Iran & Russia side! He wanted them to control the pipeline! That’s why you have “he who won’t be named” in bed with our former terror enemies in this so called civil war in Syria!

Let’s get our military outta there, and make the UN earn it’s flippin’ money by forcing everyone to the negotiating table.

Oh, a no fly zone? Just like Hillary and every other 2016 GOP candidate besides Trump wanted?

Ain’t that just a funny little coincidence? This whole gas attack scam is laughable.
