Trump better wake up and realize this is a war. Mueller needs to be fired forthwith. There is zero reason to seize any records regarding Daniels, other than to embarrass the President. Even if he slept with her, the payment to her is nothing more than a legal settlement just like an NDA. The media will crucify Trump either way, but the people will back him.

It's critical that the show continue through the mid-terms, and I'd venture to say, we'll still be hearing about the special counsel when the general election rolls around in 2020... it's necessary to keep suspicion alive.

Fire not only Mueller, but Sessions and Rosenstein. Then clean out the top echelon of DOJ and FBI. Do to these agencies what Obama did to the generals and admirals who objected to his policies. If Trump must compromise with the GOP establishment with respect to hostility to Syria and Russia, then he must protect his domestic flank. Who cares if Graham, McCain, Ryan, and McConnell complain?

When Eisenhower became POTUS he had come from a world wher Lt. Generals said How High when Ike said Jump. When he got to the WH he said he was amazed at how other than the Pentagon whenhe ordered something done nothing happened. That was just the inertia of govt. Trump is and has been faced with the open hostility of the bureaucracy from bottom to top. Even he does not know or trust the numbers of people he would need to drain that swamp.
