The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York. “Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.” Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels. Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling. The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

Fire Sessions, recess appoint Cohen in his place then have Cohen do as you suggest. also arrest every media outlet Mueller leaked to and seize their records. Who cares about any stinking privilege anymore?!

I don’t know what’s more disturbing, the fact that in America client-attorney privilege is no longer respected, or the fact that the media is so corrupt it’s actually celebrating this gross voilation of civil rights?

True. At this point I’m about ready to call Sessions Jekyll and Hyde. He was Jekyll for most of the campaign, and he’s been Hyde ever since.
What would it take to see Mueller, RR, and Sessions out of power? Only PDJT firing one of them, or all of them? Is there a nuclear option?
Whatever “they” are using to manipiulate Sessions with — it needs to come out so we can move on. He portrayed himself as such a good Christian, but he’s not.
I never really had a problem with that since its voluntary. I do not think every one of them showed all actual returns either. It can’t be too important, no one is suing over it are they?
The short of what is happening here is the left is criminalizing political opposition. The left in the swamp flagrantly go about breaking laws and nothing happens. The full force of the federal government harasses and investigates their opponents where there is no evidence of a crime.
Who signed the warrant. Bet it was a close friend of Comey. Comey was with the Southern District of NY at one time. And he has many NYC ties. He was born there.
It is time to fire Jeff Sessions.

I was overjoyed that Sessions was going to be our AG. I am hugely disappointed in that POS Jeff Sessions.
Nobody “got to” Sessions. It’s been obvious from the moment he pulled that recusal crap that he was a Trojan horse in the Trump campaign. The FBI/DOJ/Obama/Clinton cabal began setting up the anti-Trump operation months before the election when Trump emerged as a serious candidate instead of the “clown” they expected him to be. Sessions joined the Trump campaign about that time for the sole purpose to be the inside man. Sessions played his part perfectly, not because someone got to him, but because he is one of them.
