The Trump administration announced Friday it will put sanctions on 7 Russian oligarchs and several companies they own in response to Russia’s ‘continued attacks to subvert Western democracies.’

One of the seven oligarchs designated Friday, Oleg Deripaska is linked to Democrat Senator Mark Warner through a Washington lobbyist.

Virginia Dem Senator Mark Warner previously used the lobbyist of Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska to organize a secret meeting with dossier author Christopher Steele.

Sounds like these Russians are close to the Democrats, not Trump.

This isn’t all black and white, paint-by-the-numbers easy to go after “Russian oligarchs.”

Some number of “Russian Oligarchs” are wealthy Russian Jews. They work with Israeli Oligarchs, who are also Jews, to hammer out deals that benefit both countries. I found this to be especially true when both countries work on energy deals and pipelines for delivery of natural gas from Israel’s Leviathon natural gas field.

The point is that by punishing Russian oligarchs, the country of Israel may also suffer from the backwash.
