I think this could be ruled unconstitutional under the equal protection clause.

But first, we’d need a gay person to say that they are feeling and urge to convert to being straight, and that they want counseling to stay gay. Or perhaps just that hypothetical might suffice - I’m not sure.

So then the argument should be that this violates the equal protection clause because while this person can legally seek treatment, the opposite can not.

And remember, while California seeks to pass this monstrous legislation, it has no problem backing a psychologist who will help a man embrace his alleged male and female identity simultaneously. Or a counselor who will help someone embrace their alleged animal (or, alien) identity. All of that is fine. But to help someone be at home in their own body would be illegal.

Such psychologists/psychiatrists are simply servants of Satan.

When I enlisted in the Navy in the summer of '61, I had to fill out a checklist type medical questionnaire which asked did I have or had I ever had a long list of conditions and illnesses. One of the items was homosexual tendencies.

Regarding California's leadership problems, consider that all roads of corruption in federal and state governments actually lead to the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress imo.

This is because although the states have given Congress the 14th Amendment power to make punitive laws to discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated rights, we’re still stuck with a corrupt Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that will predictably not lift a finger to protect enumerated rights, basic 1st Amendment protections in this example.

So all patriots in the country need to resolve enumerated rights abridgment problems in California and other activist states by doing the following.

Patriots need to finish the job that they started when they elected Trump president.

More specifically, patriots now need to be making sure the there are plenty of Trump-supporting patriot candidates on the 2018 primary ballots, candidates who will be willing to make punitive laws to discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections, and pink-slip career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day.

And until the states wake up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of the outcome of Alabama's and Pennsylvania's special elections, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.

What if we trained counselors that currently practice this type of therapy to a new approach. Keep doing the same thing but always include a caveat in each session that one should be true to one's self. Call it something like 'reversion aversion' therapy. That the aversion part might be a sham is no big thing because so much about this whole subject is really a sham.

So if you become gay and wish to change back, go to a counselor trained in this 'reversion aversion' therapy. If the therapy fails and you become straight again, oh well!. Therapy does not always work.
