Watched an idiot on the news last night claim that a wall would not stop someone who is determined. A rope or ladder would be sufficient to get over it.

The idiot doesn’t realize that it is a HUGE deterrent and will stop most people. The pure hassle of trying to get over it will stop 99% of illegals. Plus, it will funnel the rest to open areas in the wall where they can be rounded up easier.
