Home safely...had to do my last thing, getting air in my tires, in the gentle snow and dark, but I got it done. And last night in the sunshine I got duck food, my farthest Saturday errand.

I’m feeling quite proud of myself for planning a bit ahead. d:o)

The ducks never came up last evening....I could hear lots of quacks in the creek, but not a single one came up into the yard. Usually a sign that the hawk has been dining. I’ll look for evidence in the daytime.

How are you doing for weather?

Drat! The snow has started already? Good thing you got the corn for the ducks last evening since tomorrow’s activities might be put on hold ..... again. This happened the last time you’d planned the same activities.

Ruh roh on the hawk. Everyone has to eat but it stinks when one of your feathered buddies winds up as dinner.

Our weather isn’t too bad, though colder than we’d like. It was mighty nice having temps in the 60s and 70s for a while. Mainly worried about all the things blooming right now and the nights dipping into the 30s for the next week.
It’s nice not hearing rain pound on the roof for a few days. The ground is mush right now.
